The SESF Legacy Program recognises those supporters who after looking after their family and loved ones make the incredible decision to leave a Gift in their Will to SESF.
No matter the size of a Gift in your Will, you have the opportunity to ensure your legacy lives on through empowering young people facing financial hardship to excel and achieve in their sporting aspirations. Even 1% of your estate can make a big difference.
Residuary
A residuary bequest is when you commit to leaving a portion of your estate (between 1-100%) to the Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund. This is only applied after all other bequests have been fulfilled.
Pecuniary
A pecuniary is a specific sum in the form of form of money, property, stocks or shares.
Whole Estate
A whole estate bequest may occur when an individual does not have any family or beneficiaries.
Percentage
You nominate a percentage of your whole estate (even 1% can make a difference).
While there are several types of bequest clauses, the following is the most commonly used for a general bequest:
“I give/bequeath to Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund (ABN: 27 226 736 755)
(choose one of the below)
The receipt of an authorised officer of the Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund will be sufficient discharge to my Executor/Trustee.”
