Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund has been helpful because it has removed financial strain from my parents, as well as making this trip possible. Without your help, we wouldn’t have reached the 3rd place in the Bruce Cup. I am truly grateful to be supported by the School Sports Victoria, and I will continue working hard.
Thank you for the opportunity
Thank you for choosing me for a scholarship, which helped me to start my dreams of representing Victoria in the under 12 boys football championships, in Mandurah WA in August 2019.
I had an experience of a life time from the very start of the trials to the collecting of our baggage on way home.
For me the trial process was awesome as I got to learn even more about myself, and areas I would need to work on to become a part of the team and seeing all the amazing players I was up against I became more aware of the way that I needed to prepare my whole self to be selected the team.
I have made some amazing friends that hopefully will last a lifetime and I can’t wait to see them all when we have a get together in November.
A proud team member of the 2019 Under 12 boys football championship.
Thank you very much for this opportunity, I’ll work hard to contribute to Victorian tennis team’s success and repay everyone’s kindness.

My name is Bridget Cain I attend Kurnai College I’m a recipient of the SESF Scholarship for the Sport of Swimming and I have recently competed at the SSA Australian Schools Swimming Championships in Melbourne. The financial assistance of the SESF Scholarship enabled me to participate at The SSA Swimming Championships which in turn gave me the opportunity to compete against some of the best swimmers in Australia. Being able to compete at a national level in a team environment is another step in my swimming journey.
I am a rural student from a single parent family and being able to obtain financial assistance through the SESF Fund has helped make this opportunity achievable. I would like to thank all the Sponsors and also The Committee that work to make The SESF Fund available to students in all sports.
